Our roots
Our family lives and works in Southern Crete.
We cultivate the land with respect for the cycle of the seasons, following the rhythm of the place. From crops and greenhouses to projects that shape the terrain, our daily life has always been deeply connected to the form, strength, and limits of the Cretan land. We learned to “listen” to it, to work with it, not to overpass it.
Every place has its own identity, and every identity demands respect. With this in mind, Lapis Nera was created with the same care with which we cultivate the land, positioned with the same consistency with which we shape the ground, and designed to belong to the place rather than impose itself upon it.
